The process of falling in love - our story

Being curious why so many people keep saying that Alfa Romeos have soul, and everybody should drive one at least once in their lifetime, on a vacation in Northern Italy we rented an Osso di Seppia – the model produced between 1966 and 1969 with a boat-like, rounded tail. It didn’t take long for us to fall in love with the seductive Spider’s charms.

Though not so powerful, its heart was a racing design, revving happily to stratospheric rpms, while making you feel connected to the road in a manner that is incomprehensible today. We loved goind anywhere with the little Alfa!

The Story Behind Analog Roads

That was till one afternoon in that late spring day in Sirmione, when it happened: we were driving our Spider to the old town, when from the other direction, an old couple were approaching in a beautiful red Lancia Flaminia from the 1960s. We passed each other by, smiled, waved, and our eyes met but for a second – and it was enough to tell a whole story. We felt like the torch was passed to a new generation, and it touched us so deeply, that as months turned into years, we kept talking about it.

Alas, each time we actually thought about doing something, inevitably we came to the conclusion that it’s just not the right time. And this has repeated again and again. But that torch kept burning, and burning, and burning, till one day we realized: It is NEVER the right time! That was the moment we decided to take a leap of faith, and plan Analog Roads.

We aim to help others fall in love with these mechanical beauties. To that end, we have carefuly selected a small collection of truly engaging, beautiful, authentic, quirky cars, which all share at least one thing: a soul.

With this, we want people to share the joy of experience what a vintage automobile can empart, so that as many as possible will get to feel what we felt that late spring afternoon at the Italian lakes, many years ago.
